A situation that I catch recently faced was one where I did non restrain the funds to do the various things I had wanted to do for summer. I wanted to see my grandparents down the shore still could not due to the high costs of gas. I alike needed money for entertainment with friends such as the movies, dinner, and so forth I wanted to help my grandparents around the house, doing all lying-in jobs to help them aside in any way possible. My parents could not help me out in this situation because they are already sending my younger sister and myself through college, which puts a pecuniary burden on them as well. It got to the point where I could not even see my friends because I couldnt afford the drive. I resolved my situation by applying for a job, and working basketball team days, forty hour weeks. This allowed me to drive down the shore on my weekends off to see my grandparents, whom I never rise to see, serve out with my friends after work, and to be able to do what I love, which is to surf.

The sociological imagination enables us to grasp history and biography and the relationship between the two within society. These components influenced my situation because of the time in our history. History shows in the current state we are in that the economy is pain most folks, which causes people to budget their money more expeditiously and also conservatively. In my case, the economy forced me to go out and obtain a job, so I could help my grandparents and do the things that I wanted and needed to do.
